You can often find me writing, speaking and consulting on the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries: whether that be to the media, at conferences, for local interest groups, school and university students, or as a tour guide, besides publishing in academic journals and edited collections.

I am currently working on my first book, all about Jane Austen and our perception of the real women in the eighteenth and nineteenth century country house: both a labour of love and my long-rooted research passion!
