Her research focusses on gender, collecting, country houses and education, as well as the past in public imagination (that includes period drama!). I’ve moved from my Bridgerton hype to Little Women with a stack of retellings… (so do we count retellings of classic novels as a genre? Because if so, it’s one of my favourites!)
